Creating regenerative objects

Brian Kersbergen (studio briankersbergen) and Pepijn Duijvestein (New Economy) challenge each other in the purpose of creating things. “As a designer, there is a moral aspect to question every product you create. Do we need it? What is the urgency? Besides working with the right materials, is there a future for your product? What is the impact of creating products, and how can they create positive impact at every step of the creation?”
Our mission is to redefine the concept of furniture, with timeless and regenerative solutions that outlive not only our customers but also their legacy. We believe that furniture is not just functional but also embodies healthy living and enduring design but can also be the founder of a good conversation. We will not stop questioning ourselves if objects are really needed. The question is what will be the positive impact of it.

At the heart of our mission lies a steadfast commitment to a regenerative society. So we created a platform for designers and materialwizards to provide you with good design made from good materials from the right resources. Accessible and modular with an ‘open source’ character. Biobased Design. We strive to maximize the environmental benefits at every step of the process. The materials are derived from renewable resources, ensuring that our products not only meet your immediate needs but also leave a lasting positive mark on our planet, securing a healthier future for both you and the generations to come.

Biobased Design - where furniture lives on, leaving a legacy of regenerative design, cherished memories, and a healthier planet. Let’s regenerate!
