biobaseddesign is a platform for designers, material wizards and regenerative people, founded by Brian Kersbergen (studio briankersbergen) and Pepijn Duijvestein (New Economy). Its first project is the Regenerative Modular Cabinet: a modular cabinet built from 100% biobased and 100% biodegradable materials, made with local makers in the Netherlands, and designed to outlive its owners. The first series is limited to 200 unique pieces and is available by pre_order.

biobaseddesign was founded by Brian Kersbergen (studio briankersbergen) and Pepijn Duijvestein (New Economy), working with Iris Grobben (New Economy) on strategy and Jonah Link on LCA/CSRD and impact reporting.
